Tasting Notes
Bright ruby-red colour of medium intensity, this Chilean Pinot Noir shows vibrant red fruits, such as cherries and raspberries, with notes of tobacco and dry leaves. It has a medium body with fresh acidity and ripe tannins for structure to compliment the concentrated fruit. Using gravity in the winery to assist the wine movement, the wine goes through open top wooden and concrete tanks for maceration followed by spontaneous fermentation using native yeasts it is then aged for 18 months in different barrels and blended for a complex and rich wine.

Food
Charcuterie, goat cheese, duck prepared in different ways. Dishes based on mushrooms, or truffles compliment this wine.

Region
The cool Pacific coastal Limari Valley, isolated from Chile`s traditional vineyards, lies 5 hours drive north of Santiago, towards the Atacama Desert. It has only recently been planted with premium cool climate varietals but indications hint at future grandeur. Pungent aromatic Sauvignon Blanc, subtle perfumed Pinot and spicy Syrah are the early produce of juvenile vineyards.
