Château Mouton Rothschild 2000 is a very good example of a fine wine that can appreciate well over time. The initial release price of £2000 for a 12x75cl case last traded at £19,400 on Liv-ex (10/01/19) shows an incredible appreciation of 870%. This wine was scored 96+ point by Robert Parker, so not the perfect 100, but it has outperformed many other high calibre wines.

Château Canon owned by Chanel was released at a very reasonable price of £750 for a 12x75cl case. This wine is now trading at £2,130 (Liv-ex 03/01/19) a very impressive appreciation of 184%. It had a number of high scores from wine critics including James Suckling giving it the perfect 100 point score. It is wine that everyone should have in their investment portfolio.
