Whispering Angel from Chateau d'Esclans is arguably the World's greatest Rosé. The grapes come from the most select land in the surrounding region of La Motte in Provence. The blend consists of Grenache, Cinsault, Rolle (Vermentino), Syrah and Tibouren. This rosé is crisp, fresh and elegant and comes highly recommended.
Rock Angel is a more sophisticated version of Whispering Angel. The grapes are grown at the Chateau d'Esclans vineyards and consisting of Grenache and Rolle (Vermentino). Owner Sacha Lichine and oenologist Patrick Leon (formerly from Chateau Mouton Rothschild) who sadly passed away late last year have produced a truly magnificent wine. This wine has plenty of depth and a clean fresh hint of grapefruit, lemon and strawberry. Good structure with a long finish.
“Full body, focused & vibrant” 92/100
The Palm by Whispering Angel is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah made from grapes which are selected from the best Vineyards of Côteaux d’Aix-en-Provence. It is slightly cheaper than Whispering Angel but that does not mean it is inferior, it is a very good everyday drinking Rosé.
“With a pink label covered in palm trees, it’s almost as perfect as the rosé itself”
