Tasting Notes
A classic Shiraz produced by Warburn Estates from the warm Riverina vineyards on the northern side of the Murray River in New South Wales. The label depicts the local fish found in the Murray River and the wine delivers a powerful aromatic aroma of fruitcake and plums. On the palate there are powerful lifted notes of spice and mint. A polished example of Australia`s redolent, signature grape.

Food
Serve with meats such as beef or lamb, or perfect with a spicy stew.

Region
Wine production labeled as South East Australia origin can include grapes grown in the states of NSW, South Australia and Victoria. This is necessary as the important grapegrowing districts on the Murray River can straddle more than one state boundary. Regional blending also allows a winemaker the flexibility of resources to maintain consistent quality. This regional inter-blending allows the luxury of fusing various grape varieties and styles to produce Australian wines that showcase the archetypal Aussie style, brash and big on fruit with a rich finish on the palate.

Producer
Warburn Estate is one of the largest wineries in Australia in a region that makers 50% of the production of New South Wales. Established by the Sergi family in 1968, first exports took place in 1986 and a state of the art bottling, winemaking and distribution facility installed in 2003 has seen them increase their capability to become one of the most notable producers in the country.
