Château Cissac 2018, Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois

"Another very good performance for this hugely popular Cru Bourgeois - a good, honest claret-drinkers' claret. Recent vintages here have an extra level of opulence and texture - and this could be better than the delicious 2015. Ripe and  impressive with generous cassis fruit and good grip. Weighty, well-defined and great value."This is an excellent contribution to the vintage" Neal Martin. Drink 2023-2032

"A tight red with currant and plum character, a medium body, firm tannins and a fresh finish. Another solid red from here." Scores: 91/92 - James Suckling
