A very good example of what Rosé from Languedoc-Roussillon should be like. A beautiful elegant pale rosé, an intense nose of summer fruits including blackberry, raspberry and strawberry, fresh and crisp it is a must for all rosé connoisseurs.

Blend:

  • 40% Syrah
  • 40% Cabernet sauvignon
  • 20% Cinsault
Terroir :
  • Chalky clay soils
  • South - South West exposure hillsides
  • Yields 45 hl/ha

Vinification :
Drawing off for Cabernet and Syrah. Direct pressing for Cinsault.
Grapes are harvested at peak ripeness. Strict control of temperatures throughout fermentation. Ageing on lies for 3 to 6 months. Bottled at the estate.

Tasting :
A genuine local rosé that is perfect for an apéritif but is also ideal served throughout a meal because of its richness and volume on the palate. Pretty rose petal colour. An intense nose of summer fruits (blackberry, raspberry, blackcurrant). Fresh and fruity attack. Round mouth, smooth, very elegant. The finish is full-bodied and rich. A truly "apéritif" rosé.

Serving suggestions :
As an apéritif and especially with Mediterranean and oriental cuisine, for example: summer barbecues, salads, tagine with prunes, paella, andalucian gazpacho, terrine of spring vegetables, beef carpaccio, scallop and herb terrine, stuffed vegetables, chicken in tarragon jelly, stewed peppers, salmon cakes, ratatouille and many other delicious dishes to match your culinary expertise!
