A superb Gevrey Chambertin that comes highly recommended.
Now ran by the 5th generation, the estates has grown from 4 to 18 hectares with the whole estate being farmed biodynamically. Michel’s son Frédéric continues to develop the range of vessels he uses for ageing the wines and this year has added new 225 litre clay jars to his existing stock of 228 litre oak barrels, smaller 160 litre clay jars and larger 350 litre terracotta amphorae made by TAVA in Italy.
