Château Gloria 2024, St Julien
IN BOND
Delivery 2027
This château was created in the 1950s by the late Henri Martin who was also the regisseur of Château Latour.
TASTING NOTES
The 2024 Gloria has a light nose with blackberry, leather and loamy aromas that require a bit of coaxing from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with rigid tannins, moderate depth, gentle grip and a slightly blocky finish. It's not close to the peaks that Gloria can achieve (and there have been several in recent years), but this is a swarthy Saint-Julien that should mellow with bottle age. Drink: 2030-2050

A solid, textural and well-structured red with dark plums and warm spices on the nose. It’s medium-bodied with fine, firm tannins. Juicy with some chocolate influence. Medium finish.
