Shiraz has long been Coriole’s principal variety and was first planted on the estate in 1919, while Sangiovese was planted at Coriole in 1983.
An alluring nose abundant with aromas of ripe cherry, freshly-turned earth, star anise and roasted almond. The palate explodes with pressed cherry juice, bay leaf and plum, supported by fine but persistent tannins with a lingering silky mouth feel. 50% Sangiovese, 50% Shiraz.
