The domaine owns a magnificent parcel of 60+ year old vines in Quartier de Nuits, half of which is classified as grand cru Echezeaux and half as Vosne-Romanée. Some of the fruit is fermented as whole bunches and all is then aged in oak barrels of which one third are new. Well-structured, powerful wine with dense, concentrated red cherry and blackcurrant fruit balanced by lovely, fresh acidity. Drink 2027-2033.
