Jean-Claude Theulot takes the oldest vines in three climats (Clos Laurent, Vaux and Montelons) and vinifies them separately to make this rich, generous wine that rivals many premiers crus in quality. 80% of the wine is aged in 228 litre French oak barrels (of which 20% are new) with the remaining 20% kept in stainless steel vats to retain the maximum of fruit. Rich and generous with vivid, red and black fruits and a touch of spicy oak. Drink 2026-2030.
