The Pillots sell half their crop in bulk to the big Burgundy négociants which enables them to retain just the best wines. Matured in one to six year old barrels this is a lovely example of Mercurey with delicious, red fruits and spice on the nose, carefully extracted tannins and a beguiling, fresh aftertaste. Drink 2026-2029.
