Region
The Languedoc is a vast region stretching across much of the south and Mediterranean and is France`s single largest vineyard entity for its Vins de Pays wines. Within the Languedoc lie several distinctly identified Vins de Pays (including the l`Aude, Gard and Hérault) and many generic appellations that maintain traditional local blends and wine styles such as Minervois, Corbières, Pic Saint Loup and Fitou.

Producer
Alexander Krossa’s passion for wine, discovered at his family’s winery in the 1990s, led him to create a business focused on viticulture in the Languedoc in Southern France. A pioneer and visionary, Alexander Krossa combines his technical and commercial expertise for working with his winemakers to create high quality, classic wines.

Tasting Notes
The Picpoul de Pinet vineyard area runs along the southern French coast, close to both the Mediterranean sea and the Bassin de Thau. Pale lemon in colour with fresh floral notes on the nose. The palate is light and dry with flavours of green apple, citrus and white blossom with the classic saline note that makes Picpoul de Pinet so distinctive.

Food
The classic match for this wine is seafood, particularly oysters.
