This is very refined on the nose with brambly black fruit, crushed stone and light humidor scents, focused and classically styled. The palate is medium-bodied with sapid black fruit, armed with a fine bead of acidity. Black merges into redder fruit towards the finish with commendable length. This Saint-Estèphe has a newfound fluidity which has taken it up a level. Superb. It shows good length and notable freshness, while retaining a dense, well-defined profile.
90/92
Yohan Castaing, Wine Advocate, April 2026

A medium-bodied red with fine tannins and plenty of spice and fruit, with a real sense of St.-Estephe. Juicy and long. Delicious already for barrel. This midweight Saint-Estèphe Cru Bourgeois has a lot to offer. Open-knit aromatics and relatively soft tannins suggest the 2025 will drink well pretty much right out of the gate.2030 - 2040
89/92
Antonio Galloni, vinous.com, April 2026

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0131/6713/2731/files/ormesdepez2021_d234a206-ae09-42fe-9649-7a0bcae443a3.png?v=1710610275
