Sébastien explains that this is the only north-facing Premier Cru in Chablis, which was something of a disadvantage in the past, but is now a real benefit in warmer years. The vines here are 60 years old and planted on clay soil with lots of Kimmeridgian limestone rocks. The nose has a lovely dairy note with some crushed rock touches, while the palate has some ripe citrus fruit, a creamy texture and tingling, salty finish. Very fresh. Drink now to 2025.
